 În anul 2011, lanţul de restaurante de mâncare chinezească Wu Xing a înregistrat o cifră de afaceri cu 7% mai mare decât anul precedent. Cel puţin aşa arată analizele financiare ale companiei.

 Remus Tiucă, directorul general al Wu Xing a precizat faptul că, deşi a fost an greu din punct de vedere economic şi cu multe obstacole, cifra de afaceri a companiei pe 2011 a fost de 4,584,466 RON. Aceasta a fost cu 7 procente mai mare decât anul 2010 datorată în cea mai mare parte extinderii reţelei de restaurante. „Anul 2011 se încheie bine pentru noi, nu putem spune că am dat lovitura, dar nici că am fost în prăpastie. Mai ales că în acest an am avut curaj şi ne-am extins în zona Pipera, printr-un restaurant la Pipera Business Tower care deserveşte clădirile de birouri aferente şi nu numai”, a declarat Remus Tiucă.

 În anul 2011, comanda medie deşi în scădere cu 10% faţă de anul precedent a fost compensată parţial de creşterea numărului de comenzi la domiciliu. Între 300 şi 500 de bucureşteni au comandat zilnic mâncare chinezească. Acest fapt a arătat că publicul consumator al mâncării chinezeşti rămâne fidel acestei bucătării specifice.

 Cu această ocazie, Remus Tiucă a oferit şi câteva predicţii pentru anul 2012. „Anul 2012 este un an al continuităţii proiectelor deja demarate şi a planurilor de dezvoltare, mai ales că vom deschide un nou restaurant Wu Xing în zona Centrului Vechi al Capitalei. ” Odată cu această investiţie, numărul de comenzi zilnice va creşte iar profitul va fi cu 10% mai mare decât 2011. Cifra de afaceri este prognozată a creşte cu 10% iar planurile de dezvoltare a reţelei de restaurante vor continua să fie principala direcţie de acţiune pentru echipa Wu Xing.
