Cladire maiestuoasa dar cam neingrijita, mancare de zona turistica, servicii la fel

Am revenit dupa multa vreme la Grand Gafe Van Gogh in Centrul Istoric, vizavi de BNR. Arata cam neingrijit, degradarea e vizibila si nici cel mai curat restaurant nu pare sa fie. Mancarea e obisnuita, nimic special, nu acesta cred ca este motivul pentru care se duc cei mai multi oameni la Grand Gafe Van Gogh, ci doar pentru ca e in Centrul Vechi al Bucurestiului, unde e frumos si boem. Chelnerii par obositi si stresati, ceea ce e de asteptat sa gasesti la cele mai multe dintre restaurantele din Centrul Vechi. Asadar, nimic special de vazut sau de mancat la Grand Gafe Van Gogh din Centrul Istoric. (GB - ianuarie 2015)

Van Gogh Grand Cafe e unul dintre resturantele mari din Centrul Vechi al Bucurestiului, chiar la intrarea in aceasta zona, in stanga BNR. Ca la mai toate localurile de acolo, terasa de la Grand Cafe van Gogh e plina-ochi in timpul verii. Mesele sunt foarte inghesuite, asa ca e nevoie de multa indemanare si chiar de ceva imaginatie ca sa te descurci. Mancarea a fost rezonabila, adica un pic mai buna decat m-as fi asteptat de la un local din Centrul Istoric. Chelnerii, toti foarte tineri, sunt amabili, insa nu fac fata numarului mare de clienti si ingustimii locurilor - si de aici vine nota mai mica de la servicii. (GB - iunie 2011)
