Restaurantul Malagamba nu a capatat numele din intamplare: se gaseste la parterul unei cladiri interbelice, nu departe de sala Rapsodia, unde Sergiu Malagamba si orchestra sa au sustinut cateva serii de concerte istorice. Locul a luat din spiritul omului. Pe pereti au aparut lucrari de arta moderna ale diversilor artisti tineri, lumea cea mai bine imbracata a tras la masa la Malagamba (e de ajuns sa privesti si sa comparati...), mancarurile, vinurile, stilurile si tarile s-au amestecat intr-un mod incredibil in meniu, asa incat e imposibil sa nu fii satisfacut. Totul e colorat, arata bine, miroase excelent si, mai ales, are gust pe masura. Daca alegi, de exemplu salata de ton, vei gasi in ea ton proaspat, nu conserva... Pastele sunt facute din aluat proaspat. Nu se vorbeste de conservanti la Malagamba, ca se supara bucatarul!
