Gradina Zoologica „Dragos Voda” a fost înfiinţată în anul 1968. În anul 1970 se aduc primele exemplare de zimbri, în număr de trei, originare din Polonia, dânduli-se numele de Rarău, Roxana şi Raluca. În anul 1974 , rezervaţia găzduieşte filmarea unor secvenţe de vânătoare pentru filmele “Fraţii Jderi” şi “Ştefan cel Mare-Vaslui 1475”. Rezervatia de Zimbri si Fauna Carpatina Dragos-Voda este una din cele 4 rezervatii de zimbri existente la noi in tara si este catalogata ca fiind una dintre cele mai mari rezervatii exclusive zimbrilor din Europa, fiind infiintata in anul 1968, ea intinde pe aproximativ 11.500 ha si este una dintre cele patru arii protejate incluse in Parcul Natural Vanatori-Neamt. Situata in nordul judetului Neamt, pe raza comunei Vanatori-Neamt, in apropierea drumului national DN15 si a Manastirii Neamtului, rezervatia, reprezinta unul dintre cele mai vizitate obiective turistice ale judetului.
